To Be Tied Yoga 200 Hour Teacher Training
As
part of our 200-hour teacher training, you will be required to
attend 5 classes a week, to journal, evaluate classes and attend
one-on-one sessions with your teachers to design and develop a
personal practice. You will be asked to complete a special project
that incorporates your yoga journey with the community. This can be
discussed in further detail as our work together progresses.

You
will explore many yoga styles including:
Bikram
(Hot Yoga)
Aerial Yoga (you will not gain credentials to teach
it)
Ashtanga (Power Yoga)
Svaroopa Yoga
Prenatal Yoga
Kids
Yoga
Chair Yoga
Yoga Nidra
Gentle Yoga
Yoga for
Seniors
You can study as many or as few of these styles as
you like depending on your interests.
We typically hold study
sessions after a class for an hour or two.
Weekly
study sessions with Jack and myself depends on individual schedules
from week to week.
The training will take from 9 months to a
year to complete.
At the time of completion you will receive
a certificate from Fit To Be Tied Yoga as a 200-hour certified yoga
teacher. The fee for our time and expertise is $1,500.00. We ask
that you pay $500.00 when you come to the first teaching session
with us, the next $500.00 is due after completing 100 hours and the
final installment is due when you finish
the course including the community project.
We
charge an additional $40.00 per month payable at the beginning of
each month so that you can enjoy unlimited classes as long as you
are in training.
(A requirement for this training is that you
have at least 2 years of personal yoga practice with a yoga
teacher.)
