Fit To Be Tied Yoga offers a variety of classes, therapies and certifications in Cobleskill, Cooperstown, & Cherry Valley. We welcome all levels of students. From individuals who have never tried yoga, to those wanting to be certified as yoga instructors, our classes and therapies fit your needs.

We offer Aerial, Ashtanga, Yin, Gentle, Partner Yoga, Thai Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Creative Flow, Hot Yoga, and more.

Bonnie has been teaching yoga since 1993. She has studied with David Swenson, Beryl Bender Birch, Tom Birch and Manju Jois (all Ashtanga teachers). She has taken workshops annually with interdisciplinary teachers such as David Williams (Ashtanga), John Friend (Anusara yoga), Lilias Folan (Hatha yoga) & Glen Black & Judy Brick-Freedman (Iyengar yoga). Bonnie continues to study independently with various teachers through books and media, such as Paul Grilley (Yin yoga), Rodney Yee & Patricia Walden.

 

Bonnie is a Reiki Master and has studied with Libby Barnett, Bonnie Strange, Shawn Dargee and Rosemary Volpone. She has been practicing Reiki since 2003.

Kevin creates a calm, supportive space where you can slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with your body. His Yin Yoga classes move at a gentle pace, inviting you to settle into longer-held poses that improve flexibility, release tension, and encourage relaxation. With a focus on mindful breathing and quiet awareness, Kevin's classes are accessible to all experience levels. Whether you're looking to balance a busy lifestyle, complement a more active practice, or simply enjoy an hour of stillness, youll leave feeling refreshed, grounded, and renewed.

Hannah has been studying and practicing yoga for over a decade. She is particularly interested in the pre-vedic matrilineal wisdom teachings, or "hidden history" of yoga. She is a firm believer that women aren't just "little men," and that the female body has specific requirements and deserves a certain amount of rest. Hannah is a Certified Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner, and specializes in women's health and wellness. Her herbal and anatomical education informs her yoga practice, and she is certified to teach prenatal, postnatal, and aerial yoga. She is committed to designing a tranquil life, nourished by good food, good medicine, and good company. She lives in the woods of Otsego County with her husband and her son.

BrainWork Is an internal exploratory and transformative practice designed to neutralize stressors, pain, and improve basic mental, emotional, and physical functions and skills.

It will help you effectively process mental and emotional issues that can manifest physically as stress, tension, pain, anxiety, avoidance, anger, pressures, shortness of breath, fears, confusion, busyness as an escape, grief, buried memories, and extraordinary or psychic events.

Using my six-step protocol you will learn to create a safe environment for learning. This protocol can be used anytime and anywhere. The more you apply it the more potent its effects.
